Orion is a special-purpose vehicle manufacturer founded in 1997, with the goal of making state-of-the-art ambulances, emergency response cars and vehicles. ORION is the only Italian company in this field with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and SA8000 certifications and specialises in outfitting special-purpose vehicles for rescue services and social and medical transportation. The ORION production plants are located throughout Italy, with the main heart in Calenzano, a 7,000 square metre Class A energy rating structure and a production line where more than 50 people are employed.
From the outset, the company has focussed on developing solutions based on our Customers’ ideas and needs. Orion creates projects, experiments technical solutions, offers an extensive commercial service all over the domestic territory and is present in all the regions with specialised technical assistance centres.
